What to Expect From Your Nutrition Consultation

Your initial nutrition consultation runs for 90 minutes and is where Fleur gets to know you properly. She'll review your health history, current symptoms, diet, lifestyle, sleep, stress and any existing pathology results. From there she builds a personalised treatment protocol — a practical, realistic plan that fits your life and, wherever possible, your supplement budget. Whether you're coming in for support with hormonal health, gut issues, energy, weight, perimenopause or something else entirely, your first appointment is designed to give you clarity and a clear path forward.

Return consultations are 60 minutes and focus on reviewing your progress, adjusting your plan and working through any new questions that have come up. Many clients also choose to add functional testing — including complete blood pathology analysis, SMART DNA or gut testing — to give Fleur a deeper picture of what's happening beneath the surface. If you're not sure whether nutritional medicine is right for you, a free 15-minute Discovery Call is the perfect place to start.

How it works

How the Consultation Process Works

1

Book Your Appointment or Discovery Call

Choose a time that suits you — face-to-face in Mount Eliza or Dromana at Pinnacle Physio, or via telehealth from anywhere in Australia or internationally (excluding USA). If you're unsure where to start, book a free 15-minute Discovery Call first. You'll have a chance to ask questions and see whether working with Fleur feels like the right fit before you commit.

2

Complete Your Pre-Consultation Questionnaire

Before your initial appointment, you'll receive a detailed health questionnaire to complete at your own pace. This covers your health history, current concerns, diet, medications, supplements and lifestyle. The more detail you provide, the more productive your first session will be — Fleur reviews everything thoroughly so your appointment time is spent on you, not on admin.

3

Receive Your Personalised Treatment Protocol

During your 90-minute initial consultation, Fleur works through your questionnaire responses, asks follow-up questions and begins building your personalised nutrition plan. You'll leave with a clear treatment protocol, realistic goals and practical next steps. Where relevant, Fleur may recommend functional testing to add further depth to your plan. Return consultations keep your progress on track and your plan evolving with you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Appointments & Pricing

How much does a nutrition consultation cost at Vital Energy Nutritional Medicine?

An initial 90-minute consultation is $180 and a 60-minute return consultation is $130, whether you see Fleur in Mount Eliza, Dromana or online via telehealth. A free 15-minute discovery call is also available, and Smart DNA testing and functional pathology packages are listed on the Appointments & Pricing page.

Where are the face-to-face clinics located?

Fleur sees clients in person at two locations on the Mornington Peninsula: Mount Eliza and Dromana, where she works from Pinnacle Physio. Both clinics are accessible for clients across the Peninsula, including Frankston, Mornington, Rosebud, Rye and surrounding areas. Use the separate booking links for each location — Mount Eliza and Dromana bookings are managed through Healthbank.

Is an online nutrition consultation available?

Yes. Telehealth appointments are available for clients anywhere in Australia and internationally, with the exception of the USA. Online consultations follow the same structure as face-to-face appointments — 90 minutes for an initial consultation and 60 minutes for a return visit — and include a personalised treatment protocol. Many clients find telehealth just as thorough and supportive as an in-person session.

What happens during the initial nutrition consultation?

Your 90-minute initial consultation covers your full health history, current symptoms, diet, lifestyle, sleep and stress patterns, and any existing test results you'd like Fleur to review. Fleur will ask detailed questions, listen carefully and begin building a personalised nutrition plan tailored to your specific health concerns and goals. You'll receive a written treatment protocol and clear next steps before you leave — or before the session ends if you're online.

Do I need to bring anything to my first appointment?

You'll complete a detailed health questionnaire before your appointment, so Fleur will already have a solid overview of your health picture. If you have recent blood test results, specialist letters or a list of current medications and supplements, bring those along — or send them through ahead of time. The more information Fleur has, the more tailored your plan will be from day one.

Does Fleur work within supplement budgets?

Yes. Fleur understands that supplement costs can add up quickly, and she works with your budget wherever possible when recommending a protocol. Her aim is to build a plan that's genuinely sustainable for your lifestyle and finances — not one that requires an overwhelming list of products to get started. If cost is a concern, let her know during your Discovery Call or at your initial consultation.
